Daniel was attentive and set up multiple meetings with us prior to our wedding to discuss our vision for our wedding day. Everything ran perfectly throughout the entire day. The audio for our ceremony was perfect and the music selections throughout cocktail hour, dinner, and the reception set the mood for our wedding. We also hired a string trio through second song and they did a beautiful job at our ceremony and cocktail hour. Our reception was a party and Daniel made sure people were on the dance floor all night long. We also had my cousin play the trumpet at our reception while Daniel played a song in the background. Daniel mic'd up his trumpet for us and it was such a hit! We also got our Photo Booth through second song and they provided the uplighting at the venue! “If we could give The Hook Club more stars, we would! Let me get my one gripe out of the way at the top here: I’m pretty sure the only reason my now husband agreed to a wedding celebration was to hire The Hook Club after seeing them at a friend’s wedding before we met. It was the only part of the wedding planning process he felt truly passionate about from the jump – we knew we wanted them before we even had a venue or date and went so far as to clear our potential dates with them before booking anything else. Fast forward, and Dan made the band planning process so supported and seamless that my husband’s one job went off without a hitch. The problem? Despite me planning every other single little detail of our three-day wedding weekend, the first thing that every single guest complimented (and still raves above, 1 month later) was THE BAND! But in truth, we wouldn’t have it any other way. We are absolutely ecstatic with our choice of hiring The Hook Club for our wedding. We did acoustic guitars for the ceremony, sax and tracks for cocktail and band and DJ for reception. THC was outstanding to work with from the jump. Dan is a wealth of knowledge and organization, and brings a calm, cool, collected vibe through every step of the planning process. Not to mention, he’s a great musician who can come discuss timeline with you while also playing the base day of :D. The process THC uses to help plan is smooth and clear. The communication was great throughout – we knew what to expect from the first planning call all the way up to some adhoc timeline changes day of. The band has an extensive repertoire and was able to take in our song, vibe, and timeline requests while also using their extensive experience to guide us along the way. The music carried the vibe throughout the day – from guitars at the ceremony to sax and tracks leading through cocktail hour and a mix of dance sets, slow dances, and expert MC’ing on the dance floor, we couldn’t get enough. So much so, that we extended the end time of the event just to have more fun on the dance floor with THC! Everyone was so nice, supportive, energetic and just brought their outstandingly talented A game and the absolute best vibe. The band got out on the dance floor with us, led us in call and response and a little choreographed proud Mary moment. Our first dance song is not a very common song, not only did THC learn it for us, but they provided us a track of their composition beforehand so we could practice the dance. You’ll see in the pictures my face when I first heard them play it – completely awestruck! That was pretty much my inner face the entire rest of the night in their presence. I have so many fond memories of engaging with THC throughout our wedding. If I could do it again, I’d hire THC without a second thought.”

“JJ did such a fantastic job at our wedding this June! 3 things really stood out about him! 1) Attentive JJ Really paid attention to what I wanted our wedding day and reception to look like. “Bakers Ranch is a team of informed wedding professionals who are experts in the unique art of weddings. Our wedding day felt like pure magic, and it is truly thanks to the incredible team at this wedding venue. Our guests were in awe of the space, and we received so many compliments regarding the décor, drinks, food, photographer and overall experience. My husband and I put a lot of time and research into finding the right wedding venue for us, and we walked away from our wedding day with a feeling of pride for our selection, and gratitude for the support we received. We looked at venues across three states. It was a little overwhelming and emotional, knowing that the venue would dictate so much of our time as an engaged couple and ultimately, our one wedding day. Bakers Ranch immediately stood out to us, it was an all-inclusive wedding venue that would eliminate some stress of planning. It had a gorgeous green backdrop of ancient oaks and rich foliage. It had Jeremy, a wedding planner that was calm, reassuring, honest and unlike any wedding professional we had met in our search. We booked the first available Saturday the following year almost immediately. “When my wife and I were planning our wedding, we were initially hesitant to book Once Like a Spark Wedding Co. since they were not a local company, and we didn't get to talk directly to the photographer or videographer until the day of the wedding. That being said, what sold us was their website/gallery, their professionalism when getting a quote, and that our venue vouched for them. OLAS' team's communication was responsive, quick, and thorough, putting us at ease. We had planning calls and surveys leading up the day of. Jasmine T did a stellar job setting us up to look our best, and she had her work cut out for her, because she was dealing with two brides, two dresses, and an outfit change! Jasmine was also great about following our instructions from the survey and planning meetings. For example, we had included pictures in front of a wall of donuts at the venue, but we later changed the wall of donuts to cannoli's and forgot to tell OLAS. Turns out the venue threw in the donut wall back in without telling us. Jasmine brought us to the wall, and it made for a great surprise and cute pictures. Jeremy did an amazing job on the videography and editing. Watching the highlight video made us cry because he really captured our best moments and those real smiles in the midst of the stress and hustle and bustle of the wedding day. OLAS gave us complimentary rush photos and video without us asking which was a 2-3 week was turn around. Despite our initial trepidation, we are so happy we booked OLAS. They went above and beyond to make our special day memorable for a lifetime. We are so grateful for their talent and highly recommend Once Like a Spark Wedding Co. to any couple looking for breathtaking photography and videography.”

“We couldn't have made a better choice in using Heirloom Event Company to help us plan our wedding. Our planning timeline was only about 5 months, My husband and I lived in different countries and had to deal with the added stress of immigration visas on top of wedding planning. We wanted a planner who would understand our needs and someone we could trust to listen to our vision for the day and make it happen. Haylie was so easy to work with, always on top of deadlines and keeping us on track in the all stages of planning. She listened to our ideas and dreams and found vendors that suited and fit within budget. She found us an amazing coffee cart vendor after i said coffee would be awesome to have. We dreamed of it being a fairytale/ hobbiton vibes in the music, she found us a music duo who hit the brief perfectly. She helped us surprise each other the morning of and throughout the day. She communicated with vendors, understood the fine print in the contracts and would let us know what our responsibility was. She was so supportive throughout the whole planning stage, any questions we had she answered and even after the wedding, answering questions that only come up after the event has happened. Haylie was intentional, thoughtful and she helped us be at ease leading up to the wedding and day of. With family travelling from outside of the country, she made a simple document we could give to them to have all the info needed so they didn't ask us the day of. Haylie went above and beyond to make our wedding day our dream day and we cant thank her enough.”

“I was very pleased with my experience with Something Borrowed Blooms! The flowers were quality silk, unlike typical fake flowers these felt and even smelled like flowers!! I enjoyed not having to waste flowers the day after our wedding, I could send them back in for the next bride! If I had not gone with something borrowed we likely would have make our own flower arrangements. I was nervous about not knowing how those would look until the day of. I loved knowing EXACTLY what my flowers would look like on my wedding day. They were gorgeous! The customer service was never lacking! My shipment was delayed by a day but the team was quick to respond to my nerves insuring me they would over night a replacement box if needed. We highly recommend!”

“Our experience working with Jamie and Ceremony DJs can be best summed up by the fact that multiple people told us after the ceremony they wanted to book him for their wedding and at least one got his business card! I can't imagine a better DJ, truly. When we first met with Jamie, he said he could make people dance to anything and would keep people on the dance floor all night, and he WAS NOT LYING. The whole night, the dance floor was PACKED even though it was rainy/muddy/cold/wet. Jamie took us on a journey that covered all of the bases of the music we love to hear and dance to, seamlessly and magically (?) integrating genres with the best mixes, it was pure wizardry and really captured who we were. We as a couple care a lot about music and wanted music that represented who we were and what we like to listen to, and he did not disappoint! So much prep work went into this, he took patience and time to try to understand our tastes and vibe, and it was so cool to have the wedding played on vinyl- basically, Jamie just "got it" from start to finish and we had the best time! Our wedding also got delayed due to rain and a road closure and he was such a good sport, staying late to keep us all dancing for a whole other hour- so fun! Also, when our ceremony musician was stuck in traffic due to the storm, he was so prepared and had our prelude/processional music downloaded so we could still walk down the aisle to the songs we'd chosen. Overall, such a cool, kind, funny guy who was professional and prepared in every way and honest just takes time to meet and know his clients, and clearly just loves to share his love of music. I would book him for everything if I could. BOOK THIS DJ. You will NOT regret it!”

When I started WFD in 2019, I decided to prioritize both artistic designs and building long-term relationships with each couple. Planning my own wedding in 2021 gave me an even deeper appreciation for the importance of receiving creative expertise and genuine support from wedding vendors.

“Misha is the most creative, talented and kind human ever! It was an absolute joy working with Misha. I am so so grateful we found her both because her florals were beyond stunning and because she took such good care of us! In terms of floral design- Misha is nothing short of a creative genius. This is not an exaggeration. I’m truly stunned by how incredibly unique each of her weddings are. She took the time to really get to know us and figure out exactly what we wanted- even what we didn’t even know we wanted. I gave her minimal direction and was completely stunned by how she managed to produce even more than what I could have imagined. I wanted something bright, colorful and unique with lots of personality and life. She provided the most beautiful, colorful and lush florals I’ve ever seen. Also, I am pretty sure that Misha provided even more florals than I paid for just out of her own kindness and generosity. There were so many unique flowers and every stem seemed intentionally hand-selected and placed. We got SO many compliments on our florals! Now onto Misha herself - it’s such a gift that such a talented person also happens to be one of the kindest people I’ve ever met. Misha is a trained social worker and it shows. Misha doesn’t just provide a service, she nurtures relationships. She was very understanding and respectful about working within our budget - these conversations never felt awkward with Misha. She is also so thorough and on top of it- you will be getting updates, regular check-in calls - she makes you feel like you have her full attention and energy even though she has tons of clients and weddings! You are not just paying for one day of flowers (even though they themselves would be worth it!) - you are getting endless hours of her time, creativity, design work and collaboration. Working with Misha was the best decision we made when it came to our wedding and I could not recommend her more highly.
